About this J.P. Dog:
Bronson is a 2 year old rescued mix of “Border Collie, Springer Spaniel, Hound…you name it, and he might be partly that.” Bronson may also answer to: Bronosaurus, Chicken, Monkey, or Turtle. “He came from Georgia but I adopted him from The Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem. I walked in hoping to fall in love with a full grown senior or young adult, but couldn’t walk away from this guy.” (Continue for more photos…)
About this J.P. Dog’s humans:
Bronson lives with his humans Amy and Mike, and his cats Peter and Julian, in Hyde Square where they’ve lived for about ten years. Amy works in the CCU/Emergency room at Angell Animal Medical Center. “Both the shelter and hospital could always use old sheets, bed, towels etc! Money is not all it takesto keep them happy and comfy.” So JP-Doggers, please think about donating these items to Angell!
Does your J.P. Dog have any funny quirks, odd behaviors, or defining characteristics?
Bronson has a very perfect moustache. He’s very smart and will often get exactly what he wants from you. He’s incredibly obedient and loves learning. Currently, he will kiss (with his nose), roll over, shake, and high-five on command.
What do you love most about your J.P. Dog?
He’s our best friend. I try to remember my days before he was by my side and I don’t know how I had as much fun!
Your J.P. Dog’s favorite outdoor spots in J.P.?
He loves all the parks, the Arboretum, the pond, and his favorite is the field just before the pond- it’s endless!
Anything else you’d like to share about your J.P. Dog?
I’ve got 2 adult cats who have learned to tolerate Bronson, but would rather be on their own terms. I fostered a kitten a few months back and they became instant best friends. Bronson loves everyone and and everything willing to give him love back!
