I met these costumed lovelies at this past Saturday’s JP Dog Costume Parade, which was basically the highlight of my month. Seriously if you didn’t go, well you’re crazy. Go next year. This pup was the gentlest, sweetest lion I’ve ever met.
About this J.P. Dog:
Nena, or Shanena, is a six and a half year old rescued Pitbull. She was rescued from Angell’s Adoption Center when she was about six or seven months old. Nena had been waiting for her forever home for more than two months “because she’s a pitbull.”
About this J.P. Dog’s human:
Nena lives with her humans Antje, Sebastian, and Annika near Stonybrook, where they’ve lived for 7 years.
