Spotted! Nunu the burrower

IMG_6985

I don’t even know if I’m spelling Nunu’s name properly! This gentle giant lives on my street, in a huge old house on the hill. In the summer, Nunu burrows this cooling hole to lay in during the hot days of summer, when I took these photos. Given the blustery reminder over the last few days that winter is coming no matter how much we wish it wasn’t (my apologies to the four or five of you who actually like winter), I thought we could all use some summery Nunu.

(If anyone knows Nunu’s humans, let them know I’d love to officially profile Nunu!)

  1. I love passing by this house and seeing him sitting calmly on the hill, like he’s watching over things. Nice to learn his name. 🙂
