The other day, Arlo and I met this dear dog, and his equally dear human. I love how this blog forces me into meeting so many quality JP-ers. Because as you all know, people who love dogs are cool and people who love JP are cool, so when you combine those two together, well, you just get extra great folks. Just sayin’.
About this J.P. Dog:
Paco, who sometimes goes by Paquirri or Pampy, is a five and a half year old Beagle-hound mix (maybe some Pointer too) who was rescued from EOL Multi-breed Rescue in Canterbury, CT last summer when he was about four years old. (Continue for 7 more adorable Paco photos!)
About this J.P. Dog’s human:
Paco lives with his humans, Yovanni and Allyson, in Central Jamaica Plain, near Centre Street, where they’ve lived for over two years.
Does your J.P. Dog have any funny quirks, odd behaviors, or defining characteristics?
Paco really enjoys food, especially bananas, tangerines, and mangos. He also has a certain sweet/sad look he gives by tipping his chin down and opening his eyes extra wide- we call it his “Puss in Boots” (like the cat in Shrek).
What do you love most about your J.P. Dog?
He is loyal and a cuddly friend with a mind and personality all his own.
Your J.P. Dog’s favorite outdoor spots in J.P.?
Paco loves to walk around the pond (all the birds drive him wild!) and sniff his way through the Southwest Corridor Park between Green Street and Stonybrook.
Anything else you’d like to share about your J.P. Dog?
Even though we’ve only had him for a year and a half it’s hard to remember life before Paco- we love him so much!
