About this J.P. Dog:
Sometimes I get such instant, mad crushes on other dogs that I feel like I’m cheating on mine. Such was the case when I met this little one outside of Whole Foods. Attie, who sometimes goes by Attie Bear, is a 6 year old Chihuahua / Shih Tzu mix, who was rescued from the Salem shelter when she was 2. (Continue for 4 more photos of this little rascal…)
About this J.P. Dog’s human:
Attie lives with her human Jen, in Hyde Square where they’ve lived for two years. Jen is a professor and also has a private medical intuitive practice.
Does your J.P. Dog have any funny quirks, odd behaviors, or defining characteristics?
Attie has decided that her job is to herd everyone in the house into one room – preferably sitting on or next to each other. Then she sits on two people at once, ideally.
What do you love most about your J.P. Dog?
She makes so many people happy. People love to cuddle her and play with her. She is a little magnet. Also, she likes to be on my shoulders in her green bag while we bike. Usually she is very quiet, but occasionally passersby hear a bark come out of my back.
Your J.P. Dog’s favorite outdoor spots in J.P.?
Tails pet store. She likes to go in and visit the dogs in the front room and the two cats. That has become her destination when we go on walks.
Anything else you’d like to share about your J.P. Dog?
